The Quicklock Universal Alu Mast Y28 lets you spend more time riding and less time rigging. This innovative system allows you to attach or remove your hydrofoil in seconds using just one screw, combining speed, precision, and convenience. Engineered with a newly optimized mast profile, it delivers exceptional lateral and torsional stiffness. The mast has a maximum thickness of 17 mm, with a progressively thicker trailing edge to minimize twist. A new internal structural stringer enhances overall rigidity while keeping the mast lightweight and perfectly balanced. The result is unmatched torsional stiffness, comparable to a full high-modulus carbon mast. The low-profile Quicklock plate stays mounted on your board, preserving your ideal setup and ensuring your foil is perfectly aligned every session. Built from high-strength aluminum, it guarantees zero lateral or axial movement, providing a smooth, stable, and responsive ride. If you ride multiple boards, simply install a Quicklock plate on each to swap your foil effortlessly in seconds.

How to secure the hydrofoil to the board:

Take your assembled Universal alu mast and insert it into the Quicklock plate.

Fix your assembled Universal alu mast to the Quicklock plate using  the 8mm screw.

UNIVERSAL ALU MAST TECHNOLOGY

To increase both lateral and torsional stiffness of the ALU mast, we have redesigned its profile and mould. The new mast now features a maximum thickness of 17 mm, with a proportionally thicker trailing edge to minimize twist. A new middle stringer structure between the two screws further enhances lateral stiffness, while the smaller and shorter top plate reduces overall weight compared to the Y25 Universal ALU Mast. The result is an exceptional twist of only 2.2 cm, offering torsional stiffness comparable to a full hi-modulus M40J Carbon mast.
