The FLOWARCH REAR WING G10 Y31 is RRD's fibreglass rear wing for the Dynamic Pro System — a lighter, thinner stabiliser optimised for speed and fast, reactive riding with smaller front wing configurations. Where the carbon Flow Arch prioritises rigidity for larger setups, the G10 version is tuned for the higher velocities and quicker transitions that come with compact, high-performance front wings.

Matching Fuselage & Rear Wing to Front Wing

All Dynamic Pro System components share a common connection standard and are fully interchangeable within the range. The table below provides a recommended guide for matching fuselage length and rear wing choice to front wing size and discipline.

FRONT WING FUSELAGE REAR WING DISCIPLINE
Flying Fish HA 750–900-1050 Dynamic Pro Rear Fuselage 20 - 23 Flowarch Adj Rear Wing - Flowarch Rear Wing G10 Hi Performance Downwind
Spinner Pro 530–650-780 Dynamic Pro Rear Fuselage 20 - 23 Flowarch Adj Rear Wing - Flowarch Rear Wing G10 Freestyle
All Dynamic Pro System components are designed and tested together. Mixing fuselage lengths and rear wing options within the range is encouraged — fine-tuning your setup is part of the Dynamic Pro System experience.
  • G10 THIN, FAST, RESPONSIVE

G10 is a high-density fibreglass laminate that allows for a thinner profile than carbon at equivalent structural integrity for smaller rear wing spans. This thinner section reduces drag at the rear of the setup, which is a meaningful advantage when riding at high speed with a compact, fast front wing. Less material in the water means less resistance, and the Flow Arch G10 makes full use of this by pushing top-end speed beyond what the carbon version achieves at these sizes.

  • MATCHED TO SMALLER FRONT WING SIZES

The Flow Arch G10 is designed specifically for the 155 mm and 140 mm spans — sizes where the G10 material delivers its best balance of speed, weight and adequate rigidity. At these dimensions, the torsional loads on the rear wing are lower than with larger setups, and the G10 layup provides sufficient stiffness to keep the rear end controlled without the weight penalty of carbon. As front wing area increases beyond this range, the carbon Flow Arch becomes the correct choice.

  • QUICK TRANSITIONS, SHARP RESPONSE

The lighter weight of the G10 rear wing reduces rotational inertia in the setup, which makes heel-to-toe transitions feel sharper and more immediate. For freestyle and fast freeride riding — where the rhythm of a session depends on quick, clean direction changes — the Flow Arch G10 keeps the rear of the foil agile and responsive without introducing instability.

  • CARBON VS G10 CHOOSING THE RIGHT REAR WING

The choice between Flow Arch Carbon and Flow Arch G10 comes down to front wing size and riding style. For larger front wings and glide-oriented disciplines, carbon rigidity wins. For smaller, faster setups where top-end speed and sharp transitions matter more than maximum stability under load, the G10 is the faster, more appropriate choice.

WHAT ARE THE SHIMS?

Shims are small inserts used to adjust the angle of the rear wing, fine-tuning the foil’s lift and stability. The RRD Universal fuselage allows the installation of plastic shims to customize performance. Three options are available: Black (0°), Orange (0.75°), and White (1.5°), giving riders the flexibility to modify their setup for different riding styles and conditions.

WARNING: The sets that use the Universal Plus fuselage, such as the Blaze LTD, Thunder, Mantaray, and Flying Fish, must always be used with a shim included in the RRD set. They cannot be used without one. The Universal Plus Alu Fuselage can only be used with adjustable rear wings.

The Black shim (0°) is in a neutral position, providing balanced pressure on the rider and even weight distribution on the front foot. It ensures a stable and well-balanced board, making it ideal for riders who want to learn and gain maximum confidence with their foil.

The Orange shim (0.75°) creates slightly more pressure under the front foot, offering a good lift during take-off and improved control while riding. It also provides some pop for jumps and aerial maneuvers, making it a great choice for riders looking to progress and perform more dynamic tricks.

The White shim (1.5°) creates significant pressure under the front foot, offering quick lift for fast take-offs. It’s especially suited for freestyle and big air maneuvers, providing the necessary performance for advanced tricks and jumps.
