The DYNAMIC PRO FLYING FISH FRONT WING Y31 is RRD's open ocean DOWNWIND riding / Fast Freeriding front wing built for riders who want to read the ocean, ride the swell and let the frontwing do the work. With an aspect ratio of 9.3, a refined profile and a mixed T800&MJ40 carbon layup, it delivers the glide efficiency needed to connect bumps effortlessly and the maneuverability to carve smooth, flowing lines across the swell without the technical demands of a pure high-aspect downwind setup.

Available in 830 and 1050 cm², the DYNAMIC PRO FLYING FISH FRONT WING Y31 gives every downwinder the tool to maximise their time on the swell.

    The Dynamic Pro Flying Fish is shaped around one core principle: keeping you on the swell. The AR 9.3 profile generates strong lift at low speeds and maintains it efficiently through the full range of surf foil velocities so when the wave slows, the wing stays up. When the section fattens out, you glide through it. When the next wave arrives, you are already in position. 

  • GLIDE THAT CONNECTS SWELLS

    The lift-to-drag ratio has been tuned specifically for speed , where the ability to bridge flat water between swell lines is what separates a good session from a great one. The Dynamic Pro Flying Fish pumps efficiently and holds altitude naturally fewer pumps, more flight, more connected swells per session.

  • FLUID CARVING ON THE WAVE FACE

    The Dynamic Pro Flying Fish is designed to carve with a responsive roll rate and a profile that tracks smoothly through banked turns without cavitating or losing speed. The wing follows the rider's intention through the whole arc of a carve, from rail engagement to exit, with a fluidity that makes every turn feel intuitive. 

  • SMOOTH, STALL-RESISTANT CHARACTER

    The low cambered profile concentrates lift through the centre of the wing, keeping the stall speed low and the forgiving behavior at the bottom of the speed range. This makes the Dynamic Pro Flying Fish accessible in small swell, easier to ride in variable conditions and genuinely enjoyable across the full range of swell power.
